Sam was playing in a weekend golf tournament so I made a little sign for his bathroom mirror. Typically, he comes straight in and showers. This afternoon, he spent over an hour in the living room before heading to the bathroom. When he saw it, he repeatedly said, "are you sure?!". I showed him all seven sticks that proved I was sure. With our little secret, we headed to Ryan and Carrie's to meet one-week-old Walker. 

KJ + Brett: I needed proof from the doctor that this baby did indeed exist. The day of our first appointment (8 weeks // 8.22.22), we had torrential rain in DFW. After not having rain for three months, we got 15 inches in a matter of hours. Sam was coming from the lake and nearly missed our appointment due to all of the road closures. He surprised me by coming into the ultrasound mid-appointment. As I was explaining the rain situation to KJ over the phone, I told her I was sending a pic. She thought I meant of the rain, but it was Baby Dodge's first photo! She asked if it was mine. Ha! Then screamed "BRETT!" over and over.

My Mom: I brought a stork for her Happy Everything plate to our Outer Banks trip. When we got to RVA, I gave her the little package. She is over the moon! 

My Dad: I mailed him a card. His response was "so you're going to have a little Tracy?!" I sure hope not. Ha! 

The Dodges: we gave Jack a Big Cousin shirt for his 2nd birthday! We missed his party because of the Alan Jackson concert but went to Austin the next weekend. Virginia was in town and got to watch him open his gift. We FaceTimed Max to show him Jack's new shirt. ;)
