Getaway: Cancún

Cancún was our first big beach vacation in years. Much needed. And this was our first all-inclusive experience. I'm a fan!
Workout, beach, dinner and show was our daily routine. I also ate a hot dog everyday. That's probably why I loved this trip so much.
Kelsey Jo turned 21 on the last full day of the trip, but in Mexico, legal drinking age is 18 so she was legal when we landed! That was fun.
What was not fun was landing at Love Field and having to rush to DFW so KJ could fly back to Tulsa to get to Norman for sorority recruitment. Just typing that sentence made me tired. The timing was tight, but she made her flight, and I cried actual tears when I had to say goodbye to her. It had been the best week ever.
Mom stayed in Texas to help me move into my apartment the day after we got back. Isn't she the best? I think so. Stay tuned for an upcoming post about my Uptown life.
