Since our first night out in Dallas, Kristen and I have been total Uptown Girls. Unlike the movie, we've had jobs, but we have been nannies in the past!

Our first experience in Uptown was with our dear college friend, Grant. He was a big part of our last semester of college. Grant and some guys were in town for a hockey tournament and staying in Uptown. Kristen and I came down to hang out with them for a night, and that's when she was re-introduced to Johnny. They have been dating ever since!

We knew that we wanted to get to Uptown as soon as possible, but funds were limited. We lived at home [with the Carters] for a year before we signed our lease just after Memorial Day in 2015. We became official Uptown residents that summer.

August 2015 was when we really became adults. Well, sorta. Life is still mostly carefree, and it wouldn't be possible to have any more fun than we already do. We spend way too many days at the pool and too many nights at happy hour, which has resulted in lifelong friendships and countless memories.
