I'm wrapping up my second long-term break with my blog. This time, I was only MIA for a year and a half. That's better than 3 years, right?

When I say long-term break, I mean that I think about my blog, but I don't ever visit the page, and I definitely don't write any content. As I was checking back in, I read through my old posts and brainstormed ideas for new ones. I was surprised by how hard it was for me to recall dates and the different places that I've traveled. It was a sweet reminder that I need to be better about documenting. So here I am. I'm back!

Let's catch up.

A couple of things have changed since my last post. Shortly after I posted Work Hard, Play Hard, I switched companies. And honestly, that's why I stopped blogging. Work is good. It's steadily busy. More on that later.

A big change is that Kelsey Jo started Dental School at OU. KJ enjoys school and has met dear friends. The only down side is that she studies constantly and rarely gets to come to Dallas. Becoming a dentist has been KJ's dream since pre-school. I'm excited to see it playing out!

And some things never change. Even though Kelsey is busy, our sister time together is my favorite. We still manage to hang out and squeeze in trips every so often. You'll see! Kristen and are I still roomies (8+ years strong!), and we still spend countless hours standing in our kitchen talking and laughing.
To really catch up, you'll have to stay tuned! I plan to post my past trips with some current life sprinkled in. I've given my blog a new-ish look and updated my About page. I can't wait to share more!
