Surfin’ Sam and Captain Ken: I learned to drive the boat this summer! Sam’s last surf (bottom pic) was October 22nd. 

Reel Life: we still eat fish just about every night. We’ve started sharing with the neighbors, and they love us for it! Every time Sam hooks a fish, he has a pretty animated reaction – his mom was highly entertained. 

Happy Hour(s): the Highs host us so much that we paid to replace Rick’s keg. Ha!

#RyanGotCarriedAway: the sweetest way to spend my birthday // Halloween weekend. It warmed our hearts to spend time with Ryan and Carrie's families. Ryan's dad and aunt are pictured above. Leaving the wedding was one of my only car service experiences, and I'm a fan! The driver shows up when you ask him to, and he waits as long as needed until you're ready to leave – it's fabulous!
