March 2019 // San Francisco 
We made a weekend getaway out of Sam's work trip. It rained the entire weekend, which dampened our perception of the city. We had fun, but we didn't love San Fran.

Been There Done That:
See + Do
Alcatraz Island: highly recommend. The orientation video and the audio tour are a must.
Golden Gate Bridge: we explored Fort Point at the bottom of the bridge.
Fisherman’s Wharf: touristy with lots of souvenir shops and clam chowder at every turn. 
House of Air: we stumbled upon this trampoline park near the GGB. It was my favorite part of the trip.

Eat 
Causwells: chic brunch spot with the best burger in SF
Bistro Aix: French bistro with unique and yummy seafood  
Le Marais Bakery: delicious French bakery 
Horseshoe Tavern: dive bar from 1934 
The Tipsy Pig: cute spot for craft cocktails 

Stay 
Marina District: we stayed close to Chestnut Street. There were endless restaurants and shops.
